The First Hydro Company operates 2 pumped storage power stations in North Wales. With a combined peak generating capacity of over MW these two power stations have reliably supported the UKâs national electricity supply network for decades. Now, the frequently changing demand for electricity with an increasing contribution from renewable sources makes reliable and flexible storage capacity key to delivering clean and reliable energy supplies for the future.
Together with our generation commitments we are undertaking an exciting programme of major refurbishment at both our power stations to ensure that they continue to meet demand long into the future.
THE ROLE
We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our Business Support team. The role will be responsible for the delivery of efficient administration support across all departments at Dinorwig Power Station, and where required, back up support for Ffestiniog Power Station.
This role will be based at Dinorwig Power Station (Gwynedd LL55 4TY) but may on occasion need to provide cover at Ffestiniog Power Station (LL41 3TP).
This is a varied role providing a wide range of administrative support services. The successful candidate should have exceptional organisational skills, be a strong communicator who can work flexibly as part of a team, with demonstrable experience in an administrative role ideally with some fleet administrative experience.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE:
Responsible for day-to-day planning and coordinating of fleet vehicles, including but not limited to the assignment, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of vehicles. Support the Facilities Manager as required in relation to site services. Responsible for maintaining stationery supplies. Responsible for the administration of the postal services. Point of contact for arrangement of meeting rooms internally and externally, arranging catering, equipment hire, or other services associated with meetings and events. Responsible for travel bookings and arrangements. General admin support, including photocopying, printing, and scanning of documents in line with business processes; screening phone calls and routing calls to the appropriate department, and updating and maintaining the Company telephone directory. Assistance with Company event co-ordination. Greet and assist visitors to the office.WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE IN RETURN
