Benjamin Family Initiative (BFI) is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Administrative Office Assistant to join our team. As an NGO focused on empowering women, girls, and youth through technology and education, BFI is committed to making a positive impact in the community.
- Minimum Qualification:High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level:Entry level
- Experience Length:2 years
- Provide administrative support to the office, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and ensured the proper functioning of office equipment.
- Assist in the coordination of events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Manage documentation, filing systems, and databases accurately and efficiently.
- Support the team in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications effectively, both in-person and electronically.
- Assist with basic financial tasks, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash management.
- Perform general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, and managing mail distribution
- Student and staff management.
- Minimum academic qualification of SSCE
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Office Assistant
- Strong digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Practical written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Prior administrative or office support experience is desirable.
- Must be based in Aba, Abia State, or willing to relocate.
