Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and guide them to their tables.
- Present menus, answer questions about dishes, and offer recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized.
- Pay close attention to customer needs and respond quickly to requests.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure issues are resolved.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, including table clearing and resetting.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Prior experience in food service is a plus, but not always required.
