Housekeeping Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and quality-focused Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations within a luxury hospitality environment. This role is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure all rooms meet luxury hospitality cleanliness and presentation standards
- Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs and inspection routines
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff
- Conduct room inspections and quality-control checks
- Manage linen inventory, laundry operations, and cleaning supplies
- Coordinate with maintenance and front office teams on room readiness
- Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Prepare housekeeping reports and performance updates
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ housekeeping experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in hotel or luxury hospitality housekeeping operations
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Knowledge of housekeeping systems, linen management, and cleaning standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Certification or training in hospitality management is an advantage
