We are looking to hire a Pastry Chef, Commis Chef and Chef de partie in Lagos, Nigerian. This role will see you working as part of our kitchen team undertaking all duties within our kitchen. We want a person who can prepare, cook and present great food in line with our Restaurants.
- Minimum Qualification: Vocational
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 4 years
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks and must be familiar with the industry’s best practices with good knowledge of various Foods
- To run the kitchen in a creative and innovative way, with a twist from the traditional is important.
- Must be able to launch new concepts, introduce signature dishes, and must have a proven record in quality guest experience.
- Must be able to lead, manage, and organize all aspects of food production to the highest professional standard.
- Experience in high-end operations, international exposure, and knowledge of international food products is compulsory.
- To take full responsibility for the running of the allocated section
- Assisting section chef in preparing meals
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Must be an adult of not more than 35 years
- Must possess at least 4 years working experience
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Must possess a training certificate from a catering school.
- Must be creative-minded and a team player who is willing to learn new skills.
- Must be elegant in food presentation, eye for details, and sound financial knowledge.
