Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, and holistic therapies in accordance with spa protocols and guest preferences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-treatment consultations to understand guest needs, health conditions, and contraindications, adjusting services appropriately.
  • Clearly explain treatment procedures, benefits, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations to enhance guest understanding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in all treatment rooms and spa facilities, including proper sanitation procedures between guests.
  • Create a serene, relaxing, and professional environment that ensures guest comfort, privacy, and overall satisfaction.
  • Manage treatment schedules effectively, ensuring punctuality while staying flexible and responsive to changes or guest needs.
  • Recommend suitable retail products or home-care routines to support guests' continued wellness and contribute to spa retail goals.
  • Stay up to date on the latest wellness and beauty techniques, trends, and products by participating in ongoing training and development sessions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management or supervisors.


Requirements:

  • Certification or diploma in massage therapy, aesthetics, or spa-related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Spa Therapist or in a similar wellness environment.
  • Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and spa treatments.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
