Job Summary
A Bar Man (Bartender) is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a bar, restaurant, lounge, or event setting. He ensures excellent customer service, maintains a clean and organized bar area, manages stock, and follows all safety and hygiene standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Welcome guests warmly and build positive customer relations.
- Take drink orders accurately and serve beverages promptly.
- Provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally.
Bar Operations
- Set up and close the bar area daily.
- Clean bar surfaces, utensils, and glassware.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, mixers, ice, fruits, and supplies.
- Monitor bar inventory and report shortages to management.
Cash Handling & Sales
- Issue receipts and manage tabs accurately.
- Process payments through POS systems.
- Maintain responsible alcohol service and uphold legal drinking age regulations.
- Promote special offers, upsell beverages, and increase sales.
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Follow health, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure safe handling of glassware and equipment.
- Comply with alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Maintain personal cleanliness and professional appearance.
Teamwork
- Coordinate with waiters, chefs, and management for smooth operations.
- Assist in training new bar staff when required.
- Support colleagues during busy hours.
