Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, walls, floors, sinks, cutting boards, etc.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and disinfect floors regularly; ensure no slip/trip hazards.
- Empty and wash trash bins, and properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
- Clean restrooms and changing/washing areas; replenish soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas, walk-in freezers/refrigerators, and dry stores.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen tools as required.
- Clean windows, doors, fixtures, ledges, and other surfaces.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists; ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly; store them properly.
- Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken equipment, lighting, ventilation, etc.) to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning equipment (mops, brushes, cloths, floor machines) in good condition; clean and store them appropriately.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks periodically (e.g., annual or weekly deep clean).
Requirements:
- 0-1 year experience
- Minimum of SSCE
