Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items to align with current trends, customer preferences, consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
  • Manage ingredient inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
  • Supervise and train junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Collaborate with executive chefs and kitchen staff for menu planning and special events.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • SSCE Certificate is required
