Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
- Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items to align with current trends, customer preferences, consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
- Manage ingredient inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
- Supervise and train junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Collaborate with executive chefs and kitchen staff for menu planning and special events.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- SSCE Certificate is required
