As we continue to grow our impact and audience, we are seeking a talented Motion Graphic Designer to create compelling visual stories that captivate audiences across digital platforms.
Role Overview
The Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality animated content, video graphics, visual effects, and motion assets that elevate TEDxMaitama’s brand and storytelling efforts.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about translating ideas into engaging visual experiences that inspire, educate, and drive audience engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesMotion Design & Animation
· Create engaging motion graphics for TEDx talks, conference promotions, speaker announcements, webinars, podcasts, and social media campaigns.
· Design and animate title sequences, lower thirds, transitions, intros, outros, and visual effects.
· Produce dynamic promotional videos for events and partnerships.
· Develop animated explainer videos for TEDxMaitama initiatives and programs.
Video Editing
· Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, YouTube, website, and partner platforms.
· Enhance videos with motion elements, transitions, typography, sound effects, and visual storytelling techniques.
· Ensure all content meets TEDx brand guidelines and quality standards.
Creative Storytelling
· Collaborate with the creative team to transform concepts into compelling visual narratives.
· Develop innovative animation styles that strengthen audience engagement.
· Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, event launches, and community initiatives.
Brand Consistency
· Maintain visual consistency across all motion graphics and video assets.
· Ensure alignment with TEDxMaitama’s identity, messaging, and communication objectives.
· Create reusable animation templates and design systems for scalability.
Event & Livestream Support
· Design animated visuals for conferences, livestreams, stage screens, and event presentations.
· Produce countdown timers, speaker introduction videos, and event promotional assets.
· Support the media team during major TEDxMaitama events.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Multimedia, Animation, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
· Minimum of 2 years experience in motion graphics, animation, or video production.
· Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animations, and video editing work.
· Experience working in fast-paced creative environments.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in:
· Adobe After Effects
· Adobe Premiere Pro
· Adobe Illustrator
· Adobe Photoshop
Additional skills in any of the following are an advantage:
· Cinema 4D
· Blender
· DaVinci Resolve
· Final Cut Pro
· Adobe Audition
· Figma

· Strong understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling.
