Job description:
The Shift Manager (Operations) is responsible for leading and supervising the safe, reliable, and
efficient operation of the Combined Cycle Captive Power Plant during assigned shifts. The role
ensures continuous and stable power generation to meet internal demand requirements, with a
strong focus on maintaining uninterrupted and reliable power supply to downstream process
plants and critical industrial operations. The Shift Manager ensures compliance with operational
procedures, safety standards, environmental regulations, and plant performance targets while
guiding and supporting the control room and field operations teams.
Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / I&C engineering.
▪ 10–15 years of experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant Operations.
▪ Prior experience in supervisory/shift-in-charge role preferred.
▪ Hands-on experience with Siemens Gas Turbines, especially SGT-2000E, will be an added advantage.
