Job descriptions & requirements
- Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of departmental revenue targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure proper inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and product availability.
- Maintain strong merchandising standards and ensure compliance with store planograms and display guidelines.
- Analyse product performance, including fast-moving and slow-moving items, to optimise stock levels.
- Lead, supervise, and develop store team members to ensure operational efficiency and high productivity.
- Implement loss prevention and stock control measures to minimise shrinkage and wastage.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to maintain competitiveness.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges.
- A minimum of an HND in business administration, retail management, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supermarket, retail, or FMCG operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive sales performance.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Preferably a female candidate.
