Job summary
<p>The ideal candidate must combine real estate expertise with strong financial/banking experience, enabling them to drive growth, secure funding, and lead the organization effectively in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.</p>
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and execute company-wide business plans and strategies.
- Analyze market trends to identify new development opportunities and growth areas.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing ROI.
- Direct development projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with budget and timeline.
- Manage the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of real estate assets.
- Oversee property management functions, including maintenance and tenant relations.
- Build relationships with investors, lenders, joint venture partners, and government authorities.
- Supervise staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and safety regulations.
- Handle capital expenditure projects and evaluate investment opportunities.
- Review and negotiate purchase, sale, and leasing agreements.
- Direct the preparation of feasibility studies and financial reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, estate management, business administration, finance, economics, or related field
- MBA or MSc is an added advantage
- Relevant certifications in real estate practice (e.g., NIESV, ESVARBON)
- Minimum of 10–15 years experience in real estate or related sectors
- Strong background in property development, sales, investment, and management
- Minimum of 3–7 years experience in banking (Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit/Risk, or Project Finance)
- Strong understanding of financial structuring, loan management, and investment analysis
- Proven ability to structure deals, raise capital, and manage large-scale investments
- Strong understanding of ROI, cash flow, and profitability
- Sound knowledge of land laws, title documentation, and compliance processes in Nigeria
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive performance, and execute business strategy
- Strong network across financial institutions, government bodies, and investors
- Ability to secure high-value deals and partnerships
- Proven success in delivering profitable real estate projects
- Integrity, strong negotiation skills, resilience, and excellent communication
Remuneration: NGN 1.5 Million
