Job Summary

As a Maintenance Attendance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's facilities by performing routine maintenance, identifying issues, and coordinating repairs. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for both guests and staff.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and equipment, to identify any maintenance needs.
  • Take care of the generator
  • Perform minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed.
  • Address issues with lighting, fixtures, door locks, appliances, and other in-room amenities.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed and items needing attention.
  • Report significant maintenance issues or deterioration to the management and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for repairs that require specialized skills or tools.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for routine maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff or guests, prioritizing urgent issues.
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as HVAC system checks or pool maintenance, to ensure year-round operational readiness.
  • Support overall maintenance and safety programs, including fire safety checks and emergency response procedures.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or handyman role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on various systems and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments and external vendors.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work on-call or outside regular business hours in case of emergencies.
