Job Summary

Grand Bezer Ltd needs a Housekeeping Supervisor who will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance standards are met throughout the hotel or facility. This role is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:


Supervision & Staff Management

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Assign duties, inspect work, and ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Conduct training and onboarding for new housekeeping employees.


Quality Control

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Ensure all rooms and public areas meet hygiene and presentation standards.


Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and other essentials.
  • Place orders and track usage to ensure cost-effective operations.


Guest Service

  • Respond to guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to address issues.


Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all housekeeping staff follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular training and audits for compliance.


Administrative Duties

  • Prepare schedules, reports, and logs as required.
  • Maintain records of inspections, staff performance, and supply usage


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
