Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Ensure the highest standards of service quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and address complaints promptly.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenue, and control expenses to meet financial targets.
- Analyze financial performance reports and implement cost-effective strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and legal requirements.
Staff Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement staff development programs.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase revenue.
- Ensure high occupancy rates by managing pricing strategies and customer acquisition efforts.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure the hotel complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement policies to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving financial goals and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS).
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
