Job summary
A reputable and fast-growing security services company with a strong footprint in manned guarding, patrol services, and advanced electronic security/monitoring solutions is seeking to recruit a highly competent and result-driven Head of Operations to lead and scale its operational activities. The head of operations will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s operational activities across all service lines. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capability, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive efficiency, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational units of the organisation.
- Oversee deployment, supervision, and performance management of security personnel across client locations.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standard operating frameworks.
- Drive service quality, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage operational risk, incident response, and crisis management protocols.
- Coordinate training, capacity building, and performance evaluation of field personnel.
- Collaborate with business development teams to support client acquisition and retention.
- Oversee logistics, fleet management, and deployment of security equipment and technology.
- Prepare periodic operational reports for executive management and the board.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognised institution in a relevant field (e.g., security management, business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline).
- A master's degree or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in the security industry is highly desirable.
- A military, police, or paramilitary background will be a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and multi-location operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
