Job summary
The head of business growth is responsible for driving the company's commercial growth by leading customer acquisition, revenue generation, customer retention, and market expansion. The role oversees the Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success functions, ensuring they operate as an integrated commercial team that delivers exceptional customer experiences, achieves revenue targets, and supports the company's long-term growth strategy.

- Develop and execute commercial growth strategies to drive revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
- Lead and manage sales, account management, and customer success teams to achieve business growth objectives.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, improve conversion rates, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop key account strategies, strengthen customer relationships, increase customer retention, and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Oversee customer onboarding, product adoption, customer satisfaction, and initiatives to reduce churn.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Sourcing teams to develop demand generation campaigns, pricing strategies, go-to-market plans and improve customer experience.
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and business performance to identify new growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing commercial teams while establishing clear KPIs, accountability, and a culture of collaboration and execution.
- Monitor commercial performance, prepare business reports and forecasts, and recommend actions to improve revenue, customer growth, and operational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, management, finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales, business development, commercial leadership, customer success, or growth management.
- Proven experience leading multiple commercial functions and managing B2B customer relationships.
- Experience in construction, construction technology (ConTech), real estate, procurement, supply chain, marketplace platforms, or FinTech is an advantage.
- Strong commercial, analytical, leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence tools, and data-driven decision-making.
