Responsibilities:

Supervise daily logistics and freight operations.
Coordinate import and export shipments from China to Nigeria.
Manage express air freight, expedited shipping, and ocean freight operations.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and clearing agents.
Ensure accurate shipping documentation and customs compliance.
Monitor shipment schedules and resolve operational challenges promptly.
Supervise and support logistics coordinators, dispatch personnel, and customer service staff.
Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain operational records, shipment reports, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, particularly China-to-Nigeria trade routes.
Experience with air freight, ocean freight, cargo consolidation, and customs documentation.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics management systems.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
