REPORTING TO: CEO
A. Key Accountabilities:
1. Recruitment Function
To assist the CEO in Human Resources activities, in partnership with our Business Managers and functional Heads towards ensuring that the right persons are employed and orientated to deliver expected results.
2. Performance Appraisal & Compensation Management Functions
Define a pragmatic staff Performance Appraisal System and maintain a competitive and performance-based compensation system to support organizational staff retention strategy.
3. To ensure result-focused manpower planning, succession planning, employee relations, team building and change management.
4. Propose optimal organizational designs (Organogram/structures), and submit a review of same to the CEO, at least on quarterly basis. (Due Date: 5th of Day every successive quarter).
5. To ensure exit management of any staff is done in compliance with policy. 6. Other duties as may be assigned by the CEO.
B. Skills and Competencies
1. Must have at least intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 2. Must be a competent Social Media and Zoom Conference App/Platform user for Business 3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Emotional Intelligence Skills.
5. Good communications and Business Result-oriented aptitude.
6. Problem-solving skills.
C. Experience and Qualifications
1. Minimum of 10 years post-NYSC experience in HR Management in at least a medium-size Company, with at least 2 years as HRM or Head, Human Capital Management.
2. At least 5 years’ proven experience at managing HR operations at senior level.
3. Hands-on experience in HR Policy and Procedure formulation and implementation.
4. Proven experience on the use of any HRIS will be an added advantage
5. Must be a Professional member of CIPM and/or SHRM.
6. A first degree in HR/Personnel Management, Business Administration, or related discipline with at least 2/2 from an approved university.
7. An MBA with specialization in HR is an advantage.
D. Other Job Peculiarities- Willingness to work in-office and remotely (with conducive home environment).
E. Remuneration- Competitive with Performance Bonus. (Annual Gross Remuneration- N4m- N5m)
F. Age- Not older than 40 years.
