We are looking to hire a creative and proficient Head Chef who will be involved in all aspects of food preparation and maintain complete control of the kitchen.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
- Coordinating cooks' tasks.
- Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
- Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
- Training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.
- Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
- Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
- Obtaining feedback on food and service quality and handling customer problems and complaints.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Culinary Science or related certificate
- Proven working experience as a Head Chef
- Excellent record of kitchen management
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Weekends, and on public holidays.
