Female Boarding House Parent

• Providing high-quality pastoral care and supervision for female boarders.
  
• Fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive boarding environment that encourages students’ academic, emotional, and social well-being.
  
• Maintaining positive and respectful relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  
• Monitoring students' health and well-being, including administering medication and liaising with medical professionals when necessary.
  
• Promoting good discipline, punctuality, hygiene, and respect for others within the house.
  
• Organising and supervising routines such as wake-up, meals, prep (study) time, bedtimes, and weekend activities.
  
• Communicating regularly with the Head of Boarding and pastoral staff on student progress and concerns.
  
• Keeping accurate records and reports on student welfare, behavior, and incidents.
  
• Supporting students in developing independence, responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
  
• Upholding school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  

Requirement:

• Degree or qualification in education, psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a British curriculum or international school setting.
  
• Strong pastoral instincts and genuine interest in the welfare of young people.
  
• Experience working with children or teenagers, ideally in a residential or boarding context.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  
• Culturally sensitive, professional, and adaptable to an international school environment.
  
• A clear commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  
• Health or first aid training.
  
• Counseling, mentoring, or youth work background.
• Must be a female (due to the pastoral care role in a female boarding house)
