Factory Manager

Strategic Objectives:

• To achieve and sustain world-class standards in all manufacturing/factory operations and processes
• Uninterrupted manufacturing operations throughout the year
• Implementation of Work place Organisation (5s) & GMP Management
• To ensure a Health and safety culture for all employees and other stakeholders as an important integral part of our business activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running and administration of the site
• Ensure the planning, implementation, organizing, controlling, and directing of the production and expense budget of the plant
  
• Prepare, gain approval and implement production and expense budget
• Coordinate the gathering of the costing of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production consumables
• Plan and ensure proper manning levels
• Work at improving the synergy amongst all production staff geared towards meeting site objectives
• Coordinate the implementation of factory KPI
• Coordinate the implementation of the 5s program
• Promote an enabling conducive environment for the production process while ensuring that the HSE process is fully implemented
• Ensure that top-quality raw materials are timely delivered and used at an optimum level
• Convene regular meetings with regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, SON, etc.
• Ensure that production/manufacturing at the site is at optimum level complying world-class standards
• Managing team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives, and ensuring development needs are identified and actioned

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering/Chemistry, Masters is an added advantage
• 5 years of working experience of which 3 must be in a similar role
• Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent Quantitative Analysis skills
• Knowledge of Financial Management.

Remuneration: 100,000
