Job summary
MML Consulting Ltd, a consulting and management service provider, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Business Development Manager for its client, with a core focus on project design, engineering, and project management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge about the business practices and industry trends.
- Head the team preparing bids, tenders, and other contract documents.
- Ensure all statutory documentation needed for bids is complete and up to date.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive opportunities.
- Prepare and execute relevant presentations to new and existing clients to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Maintain an all-inclusive client database system to serve as a guide for follow-up and other relationship management activities for existing and new clients.
- Coordinate with related functions within the company to ensure timeliness and accuracy in dealing with client (potential or existing) related transactions.
- Develop and recommend innovative strategies for client retention.
- Ensure compilation and timely delivery of progress reports to the management team.
- Participate in industry-related conferences and client forums as the company’s representative.
- Liaise between the company and key agencies in the industry.
- Interfacing with industry regulators and following up on submitted tenders.
- Generate work orders, Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Purchase Orders (PO), and also leads through various channels such as Nipex, networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). An engineering background would be an added advantage.
- Solid experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Adapt to creating and delivering sales presentations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Work Mode: Full-time, 6-Month Service Contract (Subject to renewal based on performance).
Remuneration: NGN 1,200,00 - 1,500,000
