Partnerships & Grants Lead
Job summary
This is not a traditional grants role nor a donor prospecting role. This is a strategic growth role focused on building, nurturing, and activating partnerships that create opportunities for the company. You will be responsible for managing existing partnerships, developing new alliances, maintaining stakeholder relationships, identifying grant opportunities, and ensuring that partnerships evolve into sustainable channels for business, visibility, influence, and impact. You understand that successful partnerships are built through consistent engagement, strategic positioning, and relationship management.

Responsibilities:
Partnership Portfolio Management:
- Manage and strengthen existing partnerships across corporate, institutional, professional, and private sectors
- Develop engagement plans for all active partnerships
- Maintain regular communication and relationship-building activities with partners
- Reactivate dormant partnerships and identify opportunities within existing relationships
- Ensure partnerships remain active, productive, and mutually beneficial.
Strategic Alliance Development:
- Identify and establish new partnerships with corporate organizations, financial institutions, pension administrators, educational institutions etc
- Strategic individuals and influencers
- Position the company as a preferred business advisory, training, consulting, and workforce development partner.
Grants & Resource Mobilisation:
- Identify and assess grant, funding, and resource mobilization opportunities
- Coordinate grant applications, concept notes, and funding proposals
- Develop funding pipelines aligned with organizational priorities
- Build relationships with grant-making organizations and funding institutions.
Partnership Activation & Opportunity Development:
- Convert partnerships into collaborative opportunities
- Initiate partnership-tailor driven proposals and programmes
- Coordinate partnership meetings, engagement sessions, and strategic discussions
- Develop partnership concepts that create value for both parties.
Ecosystem Intelligence:
- Map sectors, industries, and institutions relevant to the company
- Monitor partnership trends and strategic opportunities
- Maintain a partnership and stakeholder database
- Provide intelligence that supports organizational growth and positioning
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in partnerships, institutional relations, strategic engagement, grants management, resource mobilisation, business development, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience building and managing strategic partnerships
- Experience working within consulting firms, development organizations, workforce development organizations, learning institutions, NGOs, INGOs, professional service firms, or corporate engagement environments
- Strong proposal development and stakeholder engagement experience

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 350,000 Monthly
