Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with any drink order requests they may have.
- Keep the bar clean and orderly in order to maximize superior service.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
Requirements:
- FSLC or OND in relevant fields
- 2 - 5 years work experience.
- Experience in the hospitality business for a good number of years.
- Conversant with the use of Point of Sales as we presently use EPOS.
- Understand the food menu and have the knowledge of basic restaurant setup.
- Having an understanding of the variety of drinks and how the bar should be run.
- Able to do stock take and inventory by supervising other teams in order to make reports weekly and monthly.
- A high level of personal cleanliness and a degree of physical fitness.
- Able to pay attention to details, plan your time, and work well under pressure.
