Bar/Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts and meeting revenue targets.
• Taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
• Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to patrons.
• Create effective schedules to ensure that bar/restaurant is well staffed during peak hours.
• The bar manager will promote and grow the business, hire and train waiters, and ensure that customers receive excellent drinks, food, and services.
• You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events.
• Ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current liquor & food safety licenses.
• Create work schedules and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in Hospitality Management or similar roles.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities and take on conflict resolution.
• Possess good business sense.
• Skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills
