Job summary
An Auxiliary Nurse provides basic nursing care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. They assist in maintaining patient hygiene, monitoring vital signs, administering medication as directed, and supporting overall patient comfort and care in hospitals, clinics, or community health centers.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and dressing.
- Monitoring patients’ health status, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and reporting changes to senior nurses.
- Helping with wound care, medication administration (under supervision), and basic first aid.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients.
- Supporting nurses and other medical staff with documentation, patient records, and medical equipment.
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Observing infection control protocols and safety procedures.
