Job descriptions & requirements
Company Description Lex Firma LP is a modern Nigerian law firm designed for clients operating where law, business, technology, and regulation intersect. The firm is deliberately boutique, offering focused, agile, and tailored legal solutions instead of generic advice. Lex Firma LP combines seasoned legal judgment with commercial insight and a technology-forward mindset to deliver strategies that are both technically sound and practically useful. Its work spans complex disputes, corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, technology and emerging business models, property, employment, and private client matters. The firm leverages modern tools to analyze more deeply, anticipate emerging risks, and provide precise, real-world solutions.
Role Description As an Associate at Lex Firma LP, you will support partners and senior counsel in managing a wide range of matters, including disputes, corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory and compliance issues, technology-related matters, and advisory work. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing opinions and memoranda, and contributing to strategy development for client matters. You will attend client meetings, participate in negotiations, liaise with regulators and counterparties where required, and help ensure that advice is aligned with clients’ commercial objectives and risk profiles. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues to integrate modern tools and methodologies into the practice and maintain high professional standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja.
