Job summary
The Staff Nurse / First Aid Officer is responsible for providing basic first aid services and conducting routine health checks for employees and guests. This role focuses on monitoring vital signs, responding to minor health concerns, maintaining first aid supplies, and ensuring prompt referral to healthcare facilities when necessary.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Provide basic first aid for minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, burns, sprains, and nosebleeds

Respond promptly to medical emergencies and stabilize individuals until professional medical assistance arrives.
Maintain confidentiality while handling health-related information
- Monitor employees or guests who feel unwell while on the premises

Observe individuals recovering from minor illnesses or injuries until they are fit to resume activities or are referred for further treatment

Keep accurate records of health incidents and first aid treatments administered
- Educate staff on basic health, hygiene, and workplace safety practices

Promote preventive health measures and encourage healthy habits

Support workplace wellness initiatives where applicable.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Certification in Basic First Aid, CPR, or a related health and safety course is required.
- Additional training in occupational health or emergency response is an advantage.
- Previous experience in first aid, workplace health support, caregiving, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience using basic health monitoring equipment is an added advantage.
