Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of live show production from pre-production through post-event evaluation.
• Develop and manage production schedules, timelines, and operational workflows to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Supervise technical teams, stage crew, and contractors involved in productions.
• Coordinate stage setup, lighting, sound, video, props, and backstage operations to meet production standards.
• Manage production budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Liaise with clients, presenters, and stakeholders to understand production requirements and expectations.
• Conduct production meetings, rehearsals, technical run-throughs, and show briefings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and venue regulations during all production activities.
• Oversee logistics, including equipment transportation, installation, and dismantling after events.
• Monitor show quality and ensure productions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prepare production reports, event evaluations, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, venues, and production partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, production technologies, and best practices in live entertainment and event production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts, Mass Communication, Event Management, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/event management tools is an added advantage.
