Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct detailed customer needs assessments to recommend tailored solar and battery storage solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, tenders, and presentations to clients, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Build, manage, and expand a client database, ensuring long-term relationship management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to management on customer preferences, market gaps, and product development opportunities.
  • Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to the development of sales processes and best practices.
  • Uphold the company’s values, brand image, and customer-first approach in all interactions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience in sales, business development, or account management (renewable energy/solar industry experience is a must).
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy solutions, particularly solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and events.
