We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to lead our client's sales efforts and oversee the Sales and Marketing function. This role is responsible for building and managing the sales team, driving revenue, expanding their customer base, and translating marketing efforts into measurable sales outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Sliq’s growth objectives
  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and conversion to customer retention
  • Personally drive key accounts and high-value deals where required


Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and train sales representatives
  • Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for the sales team
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
  • Foster a high-performance, results-oriented sales culture


Sales & Marketing Oversight

  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns translate into qualified leads and sales
  • Provide market feedback to improve product positioning and messaging
  • Oversee customer acquisition initiatives and sales promotions
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights


Reporting & Process Management

  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
  • Establish and improve sales processes, pipelines, and tracking systems
  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and customer data


Requirements:

  • Proven experience closing deals and generating revenue, not just “selling.”
  • Demonstrated ability to own a sales target and be accountable for results
  • Experience building or leading a sales team in a performance-driven environment
  • Strong deal-closing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Comfortable working with clear targets, dashboards, and performance reviews
  • High tolerance for commission-based compensation and variable income
  • Strong planning, execution, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
