Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom training and assessments for maritime students
- Develop and update course materials to meet STCW and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of student performance
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality of training
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
Requirements:
- Retired Master with valid CoC
- Minimum 5 years of classroom training experience in a maritime training program
- Strong knowledge of STCW regulations and maritime industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
Desirable:
- Experience with online learning platforms and digital tools
- Familiarity with Nigerian maritime regulations and industry practices
