Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and iron clothes, linens, and other fabric items.
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains, damages, or special cleaning requirements.
- Apply appropriate cleaning methods and detergents.
- Fold, package, and organize cleaned items for delivery or storage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Monitor and report equipment faults or maintenance needs.
- Ensure proper handling of customers’ items to prevent damage or loss.
- Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / High School certificate.
- Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is an advantage.
- Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle garments carefully.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
