We are seeking to hire for the role of Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Conduct daily, systematic inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s strict hygiene and aesthetic standards.
- Team Management: Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign daily tasks and room sections to room attendants, and monitor staff performance for efficiency and attention to detail.
- Training & Development: Orient and train new housekeeping staff on proper chemical use, commercial cleaning techniques, and standard operating procedures.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, assisting in supply ordering and routine inventory counts.
- Maintenance Coordination: Identify broken equipment, plumbing issues, or damaged furniture during room inspections and log them with the maintenance department.
- Guest Relations: Address guest complaints professionally, accommodate special requests (e.g., extra towels, cribs), and oversee lost-and-found items.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
