Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and expansion opportunities.
- Translate executive leadership goals into actionable operational plans.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen market presence and competitive advantage.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Drive business growth through strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Explore and implement new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Develop and oversee sales and distribution strategies across business channels.
Operations & Commercial Management:
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory, pricing, and margin performance across business units.
- Improve operational processes while maintaining quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead demand forecasting and sales planning activities.
Financial Management & Profitability:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and operational plans.
- Monitor business performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Ensure accountability and transparency in financial and commercial activities.
- Prepare regular business performance reports for executive management.
Innovation & Business Diversification:
- Identify innovative business solutions, products, and market opportunities.
- Support the development of new business lines and expansion initiatives.
- Utilize customer insights and business analytics to improve decision-making and performance.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple departments.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work culture.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to achieve business goals.
- Represent the organization in engagements with key external stakeholders and partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years progressive leadership experience in business management, retail, technology, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Proven experience driving revenue growth and managing business operations successfully.
- Strong understanding of market trends, business strategy, and commercial operations.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in business tools, reporting systems, CRM platforms, and data analysis tools is an added advantage.
