Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Effective communication and dissemination of information to all customers.
- Selling the Organizations services and maintaining active sales records in your division, and close monitoring of prospective and potential customers.
- Effective communication and dissemination of information to all overseas representatives prior to arrival of guests.
- Involve in the development of new viable flight ideas and planning of routes to promote Umrah and Hajj travels.
- Prepare proposals for corporate presentation as at when necessary.
- Servicing of potential clients and sustaining of existing clients, through visits, exhibitions, social media etc.
- Negotiate deals with airlines.
- Tapping all available opportunities to sell additional travel services to all customers and drawing up travel plans/itinerary for clients.
- Handling of Customer’s travel arrangements and documents for every trip including Umrah and Hajj.
- Proper and detailed record keeping of all flight transactions.
- Servicing sub-agents and creating a community of agents, to boost Company sales.
- Responsible for reconciliations, corrections, etc. during the client billing and revenue recognition processes.
- Be responsible for reconciliations of all the business transaction accounts allocated to you.
- Follow up with Clients on fee payments and installment plans, where necessary.
- Involve in networking and positioning the organization to gain more visibility in
- Maintaining cordial business relationships with customers to boost sales and coordinating direct and indirect customers of the organization to accord them a
- sense of belonging.
- Follow up with Clients on fee payments and Installment plans, where necessary.
- Deliver other duties relevant to this role as directed by the Chief Executive Officer or designated persons.
- Build up an agent and customer database for corporate clients.
- Give weekly or daily sales reports on flight ticketing accordingly.
- Give updated reports on IATA BSP.
- Write a weekly report to be submitted directly to the MD via email.
Administrative duties:
- Represent Libragold occasionally at seminars and workshops organized by NANTA and any related travel and tourism workshops.
- Initiate, assist and support Sales tasks.
- Keep proper and accurate sales and commission records.
- Conduct project research.
Mandatory Work Schedule:
- Ensure advert information is sent out to the digital team appropriately to inform the general public on our travel services and airline updates.
- Contribute to creating content for marketing.
- New contacts or leads should be given adequate attention.
- Monitoring the BSP and preparing sales reports.
- Weekly performance report to be submitted to the CEO on Friday evenings or Saturday.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Tourism Management.
- Must be experienced (2 – 3 years) on the job with a good interpersonal relationship with Airlines.
- Must have the ability to create packages and benchmark flight fares for quick sales.
- IATA/UFTA certificate in travels or airline management. This will be an added advantage.
- Certificate in flight reservation and ticketing.
- Certificate of training on Sabre, Amadeus and or Galilleo.
Core Skills:
- Proficient in the use of GDS platforms vis Amadeus, Sabre, galileo
- Proficient in the management of BSP and or Golite platform for issuing tickets and IATA bill settlement.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suites vis Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Proficient in the use of Gsuites.
