The Team Lead, Deposit Mobilisation, will spearhead the bank’s liability generation strategy, focusing on building sustainable deposit portfolios. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven expertise in mobilising deposits, developing innovative savings products, and leading a team to achieve aggressive growth targets in a competitive financial services environment.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Deposit Mobilisation: Design and implement deposit mobilisation strategies aligned with the bank’s growth objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the bank’s deposit base.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise deposit mobilisation officers to achieve set targets. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, SMEs, corporates, and community groups. Drive customer acquisition through innovative campaigns, partnerships, and grassroots engagement.
- Product Development & Innovation: Collaborate with product teams to design savings and investment products tailored to customer needs. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive positioning.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track deposit mobilisation performance and provide regular reports to management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in liability generation within financial services (Commercial Banks, Finance Companies, Microfinance Banks).
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding deposit mobilisation targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian financial services landscape, particularly microfinance.
- Ability to develop innovative deposit products and marketing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (professional certifications are an added advantage).
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 600,000 - 650,000
