Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions
- Cultivate and develop strong long-term relationships with new clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients, new business opportunities and partners.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analysing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
- Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
- Analyse costs and sales
- Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, products, and technology advancements.
- Collaborate with the sales, technical, engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in sales of loading arms, Valves, and Actuators
- Strong understanding and solid technical background of Engineering equipment procurement and installation, energy markets, and regulatory environments of the EPICOM sector.
- Good technical understanding of loading arms, Valves, and Actuators systems and components would be an added bonus
- 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development in Oil and Gas Servicing, equipment installation or a similar field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety.
- Demonstrated sales and marketing skills.
- Sound judgment and good business sense.
