Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending relevant industry events.
  • Maintain a structured database of leads and prioritize follow-ups for maximum conversion.
  • Educate prospects on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, including any available incentives or rebates.
  • Explain system components, installation procedures, and financing options clearly to clients.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess energy needs, sun exposure, and roof suitability for optimal system design.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to generate customized solar energy proposals.
  • Present tailored proposals to clients, answer questions, and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Work closely with the broader sales team to meet individual and team targets, sharing insights and successful strategies.
  • Guide customers through the completion of all paperwork related to installations, financing, and incentives.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing post-sale support and addressing inquiries.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in solar inverter sales with a reputable company (mandatory).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in the solar energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy products, installation processes, and financing options.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conduct site visits and assessments confidently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage client relationships post-sale.
