Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending relevant industry events.
- Maintain a structured database of leads and prioritize follow-ups for maximum conversion.
- Educate prospects on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, including any available incentives or rebates.
- Explain system components, installation procedures, and financing options clearly to clients.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess energy needs, sun exposure, and roof suitability for optimal system design.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to generate customized solar energy proposals.
- Present tailored proposals to clients, answer questions, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Work closely with the broader sales team to meet individual and team targets, sharing insights and successful strategies.
- Guide customers through the completion of all paperwork related to installations, financing, and incentives.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing post-sale support and addressing inquiries.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in solar inverter sales with a reputable company (mandatory).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in the solar energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy products, installation processes, and financing options.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct site visits and assessments confidently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage client relationships post-sale.
