Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate loan and lease transactions for the company.
- Underwrite credit/credit proposals.
- Market all company products in the risk asset category.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely processing and disbursement of financial products.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback using CRM tools or company systems.
- Ensure full compliance with risk management protocols and financial regulatory standards.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any numerate discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience in a financial institution or lending environment (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of personal and business loan products, especially pay loan credit facilities.
- Proven credit analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to assess financial health and creditworthiness.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High level of integrity, resilience, and tenacity in achieving results under pressure.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and financial compliance standards.
- Strategic thinking skills; ability to identify opportunities and offer tailored financial solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM or Loan Management Systems is a plus.
