Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and in-person visits.
- Actively participate in field marketing activities to introduce and promote renewable energy products to potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and progress reports using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, etc.) to align strategies and support customer needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and explore further sales opportunities.
- Provide timely feedback and insights to management regarding market trends and customer preferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a related or technical industry.
- Basic knowledge or interest in renewable energy solutions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field-based sales and marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Good knowledge of the Ikeja market and its business landscape.
