Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target educational institutions, schools, universities, and tourist groups as potential clients. Generate leads through market research, cold calls, referrals, and networking.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their travel requirements and preferences. Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Consultative Sales: Understand the educational and tourism industry, including trends and competitors. Offer consultative guidance to clients by proposing customized travel packages that meet their specific needs, budgets, and objectives.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel destinations, attractions, and educational opportunities. Be knowledgeable about the agency's services, itineraries, pricing, and promotions.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients, showcasing the agency's expertise and capabilities. Address client inquiries and objections effectively.
Quotation and Proposal Generation: Create detailed travel itineraries, cost estimates, and proposals tailored to each client's requirements. Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of quotations.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining client satisfaction and agency profitability.
Sales Targets: Set and achieve monthly and annual sales targets and quotas to contribute to the agency's revenue growth.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress toward targets. Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and market feedback.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client's journey, from the initial inquiry to post-travel support.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
