Job Summary
As a Sales/Customer Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers in-store, helping to create a welcoming and efficient shopping experience. You will assist customers with product inquiries, process sales, maintain store displays, and ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and stocked.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : No Experience/Less than 1 year
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner while showing customers around the shop floor and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide product recommendations, answer customer queries, and offer solutions to any issues
- Assist with stock replenishment and ensure shelves are well-stocked and neatly displayed by Interfacing with IT in placing orders from the suppliers.
- Conduct stock checks and ensure that inventory levels are accurate
- Assist in the organisation and tidying of the shop floor and stock rooms, and ensure items are stored safely.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Stay informed on new products, sales, and any in-store offers.
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
- Work closely with team members and management to meet store targets and provide a high standard of customer service.
- Help meet or exceed sales targets by providing excellent customer service and promoting sales initiatives.
- Keeping a record of sales made throughout the day
- Any other assigned task by the management.
Requirements:
