Sales Agent

Responsibilities:

• Providing customers with product knowledge regarding styles and materials used in various models of shoes. Know your Products (by name or design)
• Having a knowledge of the raw materials with which the products are made
• Laying out shoes on shelves or tables according to size or style type (for shop staff)
  
• Recommending styles and brands based on the customer’s preferences and needs
  
• Exploring patronage from schools, dealers and distributors
  
• Attending shows and fairs e.g., NBA, LLF, Shoe Fairs etc.
  
• Taking part in formation of sales and marketing strategies suitable for the company
• Bringing in orders from schools, shoe dealers and distributors
• Educating customers on how to care for shoes to ensure that they last a long time
• Providing information about new products or promotions/ clearance sales to existing customers
• Suggesting new styles/ designs that may be popular with customers based on their preferences
• Helping customers choose the right style or design of shoes for their needs such as for work, party or for leisure activities
• Demonstrating how to walk in different styles of shoes to help customers determine which pair will be most comfortable
• Selling accessories such as socks, shoe polish, and soles to customers who purchase shoes from the store, or and dealers who are interested in Accessories such as soles
• Handling customers’ enquiries and comments and dissatisfactions promptly and giving feedback to line Managers
• Maintaining a Data base of customers numbers, calls, needs and requirements for continued relationship
• Writing reports on research/survey to line Manager for onward transfer to Management.

Requirements:

• 2 - 3 years of working experience
• Minimum academic qualification of HND
• Good negotiation skills

Location: Lagos

• Candidates around Ojota and its axis are preferred
