The operational attendant is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience through courteous service, efficient operations, and attention to detail. The role supports the cinema’s day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth ticketing, concession sales, and hall management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information on movie schedules, seat availability, ongoing promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries politely, escalating issues promptly where necessary.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to management for service improvement.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for ticketing and concession transactions and reconcile cash and sales receipts at the end of shifts, ensuring accountability and accuracy.
- Upsell products and promotions to enhance sales and improve the guest experience.
- Assist in preparing cinema halls before screenings—checking seating, lighting, air conditioning, and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby, restrooms, and concession areas throughout the day.
- Ensure compliance with Silverbird Cinemas’ safety, security, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND.
- 1–2 years of work experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills & flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Requires standing or walking for extended periods.
- Shift-based schedule, including weekends and holidays.
