Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales of logistics services.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to provide solutions that meet their expectations.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, within company guidelines.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for potential customers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Attend trade shows and other events to generate leads and build relationships.
- Update the CRM system with customer contact information and details of interactions.
- Follow up with customers after sales meetings and phone calls.
- Achieve monthly sales targets set by management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans.
Requirements:
- Minimumm academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of proven work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
- Experience in the logistics industry
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS)
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles
