Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with business growth targets.
- Define clear job expectations, analyze team performance gaps, and lead planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
- Manage, coach, and motivate the sales and showroom teams to meet monthly sales targets and achieve KPI benchmarks.
- Maintain and optimize the company's CRM database with accurate customer records and engagement history.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, purchasing behavior, and demand drivers to inform strategy.
- Conduct market intelligence to assess competitor positioning and make business-informed recommendations.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge to both team members and customers, highlighting design, material, and price differentials.
- Collaborate with production and operations to align sales forecasts with inventory and lead times.
- Monitor showroom performance, support key account relationships, and conduct periodic customer engagement visits.
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand advertising.
- Identify and act on marketing opportunities by tracking consumer needs and interior design trends.
- Contribute to major bids, proposals, and pricing decisions for high-value customers.
- Guide and interpret the company’s advertising and promotional direction to staff and customers.
- Participate actively in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of sales and marketing staff.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic outcomes.
- Conduct a SWOT analysis of internal sales processes and market environment to identify risks and growth levers.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints to reinforce the company’s premium market position.
- Perform other strategic and operational responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of proven managerial experience in a sales-focused or furniture/interior design organization.
- Strong commercial understanding of furniture design, finishes, pricing structures, and customer preferences.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic design/marketing software.
- Proven ability to prioritize, take initiative, and drive performance independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with attention to operational and brand details.
- Prior experience in the furniture or interior design industry is highly desirable
