Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Field Sales Officer capable of bringing new school customers on board via direct sales outreach and engagement. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in sales with past work experience in education. Top candidates will also have a passion for working with people and demonstrating professionalism.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new sales targets associates and opportunities.
  • Perform cold outreach to prospective school customers and close sales.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Meet sales goals within a given period.
  • Manage customer relationships, including responding to complaints, and providing after-sales support when requested.
  • Prepare sales, revenue, and expenses reports.
  • Stay abreast of new features/updates on the software and competition status.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issues escalations as needed.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of an HND in any field
  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales experience in an organization.
  • Well-exposed to B2B, B2C, and education environments and the sales of software.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Planning and Conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication, coaching, people skills, and report writing.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Should have a process-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Friendly behaviour and ability to work team-wise.
  • Sincere, hardworking, energetic, creative, and positive attitude. 
  • Lead generation (Cold emailing & calling).
  • Research and information gathering.
